Will it look natural?
Same day crowns are remarkably natural looking. We select the appropriate material based on your aesthetic and bio-mechanical requirements. Each crown is hand-finished after machining to make sure it blends in with your surrounding teeth.
Is it as strong as a traditional crown?
Yes. We use the same materials laboratories use in manufacturing your crown. Further, we are in complete control over the thickness of the crowns, so we can adjust the thickness if you’re a heavy grinder who has broken teeth/ crowns previously.
Will it hurt?
The procedure is identical to the traditional method of making a crown. As the permanent crown is cemented on the same day, there is less overall discomfort. Temporary post operative sensitivity is normal, and over the counter pain killers are typically sufficient.
How long does it take?
The initial appointment is approximately 50 minutes in duration. We need approximately 2 hours to design and manufacture your crown, before you’re back to have it cemented. The cementation appointment is typically 40 minutes.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Depending on the treatment being performed, interest free payment plans are available.

Why Do I Need A Crown?
A crown is necessary when a tooth is in poor condition. This is the case when a tooth starts to crack, break, decay or is diseased.
There are a number of reasons why your teeth may require a dental crown. One of the most common reasons is if you have undergone root canal therapy, or have had a large filling installed. In this case a crown will generally be fitted over the filling to ensure the tooth is protected and function is fully restored.
Other conditions that warrant the installation of a dental crown include teeth that have been ground down by bruxism (grinding of the teeth), aging teeth which may experience cracks and other trauma, poor oral hygiene and an improper bite.
Other Options
There may be other alternatives that are more suitable for you that our team of dedicated dentists can discuss. Some of these include:
- Missing tooth – Bridge, implant, denture
- Discolouration – Veneer, tooth whitening
- Tooth decay – Fillings, inlay or onlay
- Fractured tooth – dental bonding, inlays or onlays
- Cracked tooth – Dental bonding, inlays or onlays
Quality dental should feel accessible and stress free. We offer tailored, zero interest payment plans so you can get the treatment you need today.
